A little bit about the guest artist…

Rhadoo (Radu Cilinca) made his debut in 1995 and is one of the most promising acts in electronic music today. An accomplished DJ, his sound runs from deep, dubby House to uplifting and seductive Techno. He was one of the first Romanian DJs to break out internationally as a member of Sunrise Booking Agency roster with gigs at Club A and Studio Martin, Bucharest, Romania blossoming into stints at the East Power – Sankt Petersburg (Russia) and a residency at DC10 in Ibiza; not to mention his constant touring in Europe and his home country. Rhadoo has also proved himself as a producer, with releases on Cadenza Records and his own label [a:rpia:r] that he runs with his mates Raresh and Pedro aka Petre Inspirescu.

Three Hallucination Recordings was founded in 1992 in Tampa, Florida by Monk and David Christophere. Originally used as a platform to release their music as Rabbit in the Moon, Hallucination Recordings has since released tracks by Jackal & Hyde, Beautiful Confusion, Soulrider, Second-Hand Satellites, Reverse Commuter, House Wrecka, and Pimp Juice. Hallucination has grown into one of the most well respected underground US labels, and now includes the imprints Hallucin8trax and Hallucination Limited. The first sister label, Hallucin8trax, specializing in the new-school version of old-school Chicago Hard House and Breaks, and striving to take off where legendary Chicago label U.C. (Under Construction) left off. Hallucination Limited was founded in 2003 by Pittsburgh-born, New York City-based DJ Three. Hallucination Limited serves as a label for Terry Francis, Phillip Charles, and Three himself, amongst others. The imprint borrows equally from vintage Acid-House, Techno and underground Electronica. Joining Sepulcure will be legendary Bristol producer and Tectonic label bossPinch, tearing it up with loads of exclusives alongside Marcus Visionary, who is celebrating his full length CARIB LP release on Liondub International. Both artists will also appear at the Legendary Two Sounds Clash event at Southpaw on Friday May 28th, 2010 in celebration of the CARIB LP launch, and Jahdan’s “The General” Video launch alongside a serious selection of heavyweight talent representing Jungle/Dubstep/Reggae and Dancehall on two incredible floors in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Percussion Lab is a collective of like-minded artists, DJs, record labels and selectors.

Since 2002 they’ve been curating an exclusive collection of live and DJ sets from their favorite artists, DJs and record labels. The site is open for DJs and Artists to submit, rate and comment on their own mixes. Praveen founded Percussion Lab with one goal in mind, to curate a collection of sets and radio shows which would bring a niche sound to a wider audience. Since then, the Percussion Lab collective has continually expanded to encompass a broader range of sounds, bringing artists such as Flying Lotus, Daedelus, Jimmy Edgar Khonnor to NYC to perform at events around town and playing an instrumental role in 2006?s BAPLab music and new media festival.

Dub War is the US’s original dubstep party, pushing boundaries and bass bins in New York City 4 years running. The event is held monthly at L.O.V.E., and features visiting guests at the forefront of the sound from the UK and worldwide alongside residents Dave Q, Joe Nice, Juakali, and Incyde. Expect futuristic bass music and the freshest dubplates straight off the press. Spanning the spectrum of tempos and styles, Dub War challenges audiences to be open to strange and unexpected sounds which defy convention but always hit hard on a heavy sound system.
